The University's learning technology administrators will continue to monitor its accessibility compliance, and are obligated to remove any tool from the catalog if it is found to be inaccessible in critical areas and suitable workarounds cannot be identified.

Miro has submitted a SOC 2 Type II report to the University's Information Security team to ensure its compliance with our data privacy and protection guidelines, and the team has concluded that the use of the tool represents low risk in typical academic settings such as course activities. The tool has not been reviewed or approved for the storage of personal or highly sensitive data such as social security numbers, financial account numbers, and credit card numbers, which should not be used in any tool unless it has been approved for this purpose.
