Reviews

Honestly this is one of the most counter-intuitive plugins I've ever used. It makes practically no sense how some of it is set up and it's a pain to use. The set-up is horrid and the user interface looks as though it was coded by someone who just started. There are other plugins and platforms out there that do the same things but better.

I love Peerceptiv, but students seem really resistant to it. They object to having any part of their grade based on peer reviews. They figured out that their scores are curved (the instructor sets a desired average score and scores are calculated to achieve that average) and therefore suspect that their peers are intentionally giving each other low grades to help themselves. I don't think this is true--the algorithm down-weights inaccurate peer graders--but students hated it.
