How can Hypothesis enhance teaching and learning?
- By placing annotations alongside their associated texts to give consistent context and stimulate more informed reading, critical analysis, and interaction
- By providing forums in which faculty and students can engage in focused, topical conversations before, during, and after class meetings
- By allowing faculty to guide and support students in their reading through recommendations and instructions, explanatory glosses, and reflection questions

Availability and Licensing
This tool is available to all faculty, staff, and students throughout the University, including the academic division and the University Health System.
This tool is available to a limited number of faculty, staff, and students within the organization that has purchased the license. Contact learningtech@virginia.edu for more information.
Access to this tool is available through integrations with selected Learning Management Systems.
This tool does not require any additional purchase from students.
