Overview
Piazza is an online question-and-answer platform where students can ask questions, share answers, and discuss course content. Its wiki-style format allows students and instructors to collaboratively develop one clear, organized response to a question. Instructors can manage discussions, endorse helpful contributions, share announcements and resources, and review participation activity.
In the Classroom
Piazza is a collaborative discussion board that supports shared knowledge building by:
- Creating a welcoming space for students to ask questions and seek clarification throughout a course
- Supports mathematical and scientific discussions with LaTeX, code blocking, and other advanced formatting

The processing speed is very slow on Collab. It takes nearly a full minute to load any page.
App does not assist learning whatsoever. Negative impact on course.
Helps all students hear answers to questions that someone has -- saves me repetition in emails or in class.
